Jack Barry — Glue Matrix

GLUE MATRIX

Glue Matrix is an all encompassing musical project by Jack Barry.

Simultaneously an artist, record label, and full-service recording studio,

offering mixing, recording, production, and live sound services.

My goal as an engineer is to help you create something that feels honest, impactful, and truly yours. Whether you’re tracking a full album, refining a production, or stepping into the studio for the first time, I’ll bring the same level of technical precision and investment to every session.

As a songwriter, producer, and artist, I understand what it’s like to be on both sides of the glass, and the vulnerability that comes with recording and the creative process. For the past decade, I’ve worked with artists and bands across a variety of genres, with a specialty in rock, indie, pop, electronic, R&B, jazz, and psychedelic music. I’m a huge nerd when it comes to gear, microphones, and sound design, and I can utilize my formal training and experience to help your project shine. I currently work out of Dog House Music Studios, as well as my home studio. I do freelance work in live audio too. Let's make some magic!

Born in a beach town and drawn west by the mountains, Jack created Glue Matrix as a vehicle to explore the forces that bind people, things, and experiences together throughout time.

Musically, Glue Matrix defies easy categorization and refuses to sit in one genre; drawing from experimental psych-pop, indie rock, electronic, and deep house, with an approach shaped by artists like Tame Impala, The Weeknd, Disclosure, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Shpongle, Fcukers, and Pink Floyd. Lush synthesizers, blown-out drums, layered FX, and stacked vocal arrangements define the sonic palette.

All written, recorded, mixed, and produced by Jack. Mush love!
